Zea mays convar. Microsperm
Pretty blue and purple corn on the cob – ideal for popcorn
Elongated blue-purple cobs with an average grain size grow on the rather short plant. For optimal pollination, the maize should not be planted in a row, but in block form. Is also great for savory popcorn (butter, salt, garlic). The dried cobs are very decorative and can be stored for a long time. The cobs can also be prepared when they are young (e.g. as grilled vegetables).
Seed depth: 4 cm, spacing: 40 x 20 cm
